Early Voting in Madison
As of March 23, 2020, only curbside voting is being offered in Madison.
For future elections, Madison's early voting sites use the ExpressVote ballot marking device. It is an efficient method of providing all ballot styles, and preventing voter errors such as overvotes or crossover votes.

ES&S says to clean and disinfect, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
Difference between cleaning and disinfecting from the CDC.
CDC defines cleaning versus disinfecting:
"Cleaning refers to the removal of dirt and impurities including germs from surfaces. Cleaning alone does not kill germs. But by removing them, it decreases the number of germs and therefore any risk of spreading infection."Disinfecting kills germs on surfaces. Disinfecting works by using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs. But killing germs remaining on a surface after cleaning further reduce any risk of spreading infection."
CDC also says:
"Clean and disinfect voting-associated equipment (e.g., voting machines, laptops, tablets, keyboards) routinely. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for all cleaning and disinfection products.
"Consult with the voting machine manufacturer for guidance on appropriate disinfection products for voting machines and associated electronics.
"If no manufacturer guidance is available, consider the use of alcohol-based wipes or spray containing at least 70% alcohol to clean voting machine buttons and touch screens. Dry surfaces thoroughly to avoid pooling of liquids."
From the WEC:
"#20. What about other surfaces used by voters on election day, such as poll book tables, voter registration areas, pens, door handles, etc.? These surfaces should also be wiped down once an hour throughout election day with disinfectant wipes. The WEC recommends that every voter use wash their hands with soap and water or use an alcoholbased hand sanitizer immediately after finishing the voting process at the polling place."
