AB-64 (Act 59) budget bill vetoes, contained two election items.  WEC staff cut by 5 positions, p. 19.  School referendum limited to regularly scheduled elections, p.12

AB-153 (Act 120)  Only candidates that trail by 1% or less can request a recount.  Requests must be filed 2 days earlier.  Amendment 1: 1 day deadline to request recount only applies to presidential elections.  LC Act memo.

AB-85 (Act 326)   Local public officeholder may be  appointed to serve as an election official.

AB-332 (Act 321Allows school boards to reduce the number of signatures needed on nomination papers.

SB-488 (Act 226) Tribal ID can be used as valid ID, including as proof of residence for voter registration.  LC Act memo.
